Every good school has an opening feast. Oxford has candlelit halls. Hogwarts has floating ones. We have a backyard, a broken fence, and some string lights.
Come meet other members of The School of Salt & Pepper, a kind of social club we're starting. We'll talk about what's ahead and maybe play some games. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided; bring a side or a dessert if you like, but it's not necessary (potluck rules: whatever shows up is correct). Before we eat, one poem, read aloud. That's the whole opening ceremony.
Come hungry. Leave with plans.
What to bring or know: Nothing required. A folding chair and a side dish are both welcome. Everyone is welcome. Come see what this is all about and help me get this project going.
